Faith Garbin lives on the Gulf Coast in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, with her husband, Frank. Although poetry is her first love, she also writes creative nonfiction and short stories. Her work has appeared in Negative Capability Journal: Body in D[ist]tress, Katrina Memories, The Awakenings Review, and Imagine This! An ArtPrize Anthology, among others. A co-founder of Women of Words (WOW), she is also a member of the Poetry Society of America, the Mississippi Poetry Society, the Gulf Coast Writers’ Association, and the Alabama Writers’ Conclave. She has been a finalist in the Pirate’s Alley Faulkner Society’s Creative Writing Competition in the poetry and essay categories. Her degree is in English from Virginia Tech. She has two daughters and twin granddaughters.
