
Faith Garbin lives on the Gulf Coast in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, with her husband, Frank. Although poetry is her first love, she also writes creative nonfiction, one-act plays, and short stories. Her work has appeared in The Alalitcom, Negative Capability Journal: Body in D[ist]tress, Katrina Memories, The Awakenings Review, and Imagine This! An ArtPrize Anthology, among others. A co-founder of Women of Words (WOW), she is also a member of the Poetry Society of America, the Mississippi Poetry Society, and the Alabama Writers’ Cooperative. She has been a winner of the Mississippi Writes Original one-act play competition three years in a row. (Two one-act plays have been performed at the Bay St. Louis Little Theatre with an upcoming performance to be announced). She has won or placed in numerous competitions in a variety of genres. Her degree is in English from Virginia Tech. She has two daughters and twin granddaughters.
